HPC in Asia Poster Session

Call for HPC in Asia Posters

This is an excellent opportunity for young Asian and Australiasian researchers and graduate students to showcase their latest research results, new projects and innovation to to a wider audience from Europe and the US at ISC’14, as well as to the HPC in Asia Session attendees who consist of top Asian scientists and researchers.

The accepted posters will be displayed alongside the ISC’14 Research Posters from Monday, June 23 through Wednesday, June 25 and later during the HPC in Asia poster session on Thursday, June 26.

Areas of Interest

The HPC in Asia Session poster presentations invites posters in the following topic categories, but are not limited to them:

• Applications: any fields of science and engineering computing led by Asian research groups with local HPC resources
• Systems: research on system hardware/architecture/software led by Asian research groups
• Performance: system performance analysis related to Asian HPC systems

Submission

Poster proposals need to be submitted via the EasyChair conference system by Sunday, February 9, 2014 and need to include the following information:

NOTE: All documents need to be uploaded as a single pdf.

• Title of the poster
• Abstract (two-page A4 format), including figures, tables and references
• Topic area according to the topic categories
• Three or more keywords
• Poster draft
• Short CV for each author

Submitted posters will be reviewed by the HPC in Asia Program Committee and evaluated based on scientific value as well as the subject’s significance to state-of-the-art research in Asian countries.

HPC in Asia poster submitters are also cordially invited to participate in the ISC’14 Research Poster Session. However, we discourage submitters from submitting the same poster to both sessions. All submitted work must be original and not duplicated.

Poster Presentation

The final poster may not exceed A0 portrait paper size (841mm x 1189mm / 33.1" x 46.8").

Submitters will be required to attend the HPC in Asia poster session or send a representative to present the poster. The extended abstract and poster materials will be included on the ISC’14 website as a collection of workshop materials.
 

Proceedings

A pdf of the accepted poster, if provided to us, will be published in the ISC’14 proceedings, which will be available online to the ISC attendees a few days after the conference.
